LayZ's DUSK 2024 afterparty.

From her first bass drop as an attendee at Lost Lands to commanding its stage as a headliner-in-the-making, LAYZ’s rise in the bass music scene is nothing short of electrifying. The emerging DJ and producer has carved a name for herself with a relentless work ethic, a penchant for bone-rattling basslines, and a sound that’s as unmistakable as it is undeniable.

It all began in 2017 when LAYZ attended her first Lost Lands, a festival revered as the epicenter of dubstep culture. The experience ignited a spark, pushing her to create the very music that had captivated her. Balancing the rigors of college and work, she spent countless nights immersed in production, forging a signature style that would soon set her apart in the scene.

By 2019, LAYZ was already turning heads, sharing stages with bass music giants like Excision, Kayzo, Sullivan King, and Wooli.

Fast forward to 2024, and LAYZ’s ascent shows no signs of slowing. With performances at landmark festivals like EDC and Paradise Blue and her breakout set at Lost Lands now behind her, she has earned her recognition as a force in the underground, while her relentless drive kept her momentum soaring.

LAYZ’s journey is more than a story of talent; it’s a testament to determination and vision. From her first inspirations in the crowd to now inspiring thousands from the stage, she embodies the future of bass music. With every drop, she proves she’s not just making waves — she’s creating tidal shifts in the scene.
