Bluesfest closed out its nine-day run with a show-stopping finale. Day 9 featured BADBADNOTGOOD, Be In The Band, Lou Phelps, and a highly anticipated performance by Kaytranada.

Kaytranada, the Montreal-based DJ and producer born in Haiti, closed out the festival at the RBC Stage tonight with a dynamic set and vibrant visuals. The rain cleared just in time for his entrance, as he opened with “Pressure” and finished with a burst of fireworks during his iconic remix of Teedra Moses’ “BE YOUR GIRL.” Blending fresh tracks like “Snap My Finger” with fan favourites including “10%,” “LITE SPOTS,” and “YOU'RE THE ONE,” his set struck the perfect balance between new sounds and beloved classics. Remixes of Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better” and Janet Jackson’s “If” added standout moments to an already electric performance. He moved to the beat on stage and kept the crowd fully engaged, even dropping for push-ups during “Dance Dance Dance Dance.” Kaytranada maintained high energy throughout, delivering a finale that brought the festival to a thrilling close.
